globaL Co-operation
Innovation hubs promoting growth in the digitalisation of the built environment have been founded around the world in recent years. In Finland, KIRAHub is a part of this global network.
Different hubs have chosen one or two themes based on their individual needs that they especially focus on. At Stanford University in The USA, ETH Zürich in Switzerland and Construction Innovation Hub in the UK the focus is heavily shifted towards adapting industrial processes and platform-thinking. In Singapore, the many possibilities of utilising location data has brought actors together in the GeoWorks -network. The Danish Bloxhub looks for city-scaled solutions to combat the climate crisis. The AEC hackathon wants to shake us all up and make us think in a radically new way and to learn through joint development.
Internationality is one of KIRAHub’s most important principles. We organise events, learning possibilities, educational trips, delegation visits and other activities within our network, all of which you are welcome to join. In the future we will also organise international development programs within the network.
We also help international actors to integrate the Finnish markets, find affiliates and to learn about our expert know-how. Additionally, we bring the latest inventions and research results to Finnish actors. The WDBE Summit, now taking place for the fourth time, is an important meeting place for our continuously growing global network.
