RAVA3Pro – Towards automated checking of BIM-Based Building Permit

RAVA3pro is a development project led by the City of Helsinki and funded by the Ministry of Finance for the further development and automation of the electronic permit process of municipal building control. 23 municipalities are involved in the project. The main applicant and manager of the project is the city of Helsinki’s urban environment department.

In addition to the city of Helsinki, the project includes Espoo, Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna, Iisalmi, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Järvenpää, Kirkkonummi, Lahti, Lohja, Mikkeli, Oulu, Pori, Salo, Seinäjoki, Sysmä, Tampere, Turku, Tuusula, Vantaa, Ylöjärvi and Äänekoski. The development project is also supported by funding from the Ministry of Finance, the national standard work of the Ministry of the Environment and the joint development of the municipalities of the Association of Finnish Municipalities.
